Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our few days at
Penina this week.
The weather was glorious which is always a good start! I thought the package we obtained via your company was very good value and the service at the Hotel was excellent.
Do you know about the toll charges now imposed when travelling on the A22 from Faro? We only found out by chance the day before we left! We subsequently heard tales of people being fined significant sums for non-payment. The system is archaic and will have to be upgraded but it may be worth you informing your clients of the importance of paying their toll charges (a) within 5 days of incurring them and (b) before leaving Portugal as they can only be paid in cash at a Post Office!

The new toll system in place on the A22 seems to be a bit of a mystery to all! The system is still being updated and we will receive further information soon but at the moment any fees are charged to the car hire company (Golf Autos) who then contact the driver for payment of the fees so there is no need to find a post office etc to make the payment - peace of mind for golfers especially for their return journey to the airport!
